my friend, lauren, and her fiance Ryan tied the knot!! congrats guys!
my best friends, erica & nick, welcomed their first child into the world! this adorable little guy is currently in the NICU and will be joining his parents at home soon!! :) gotta love having another nephew (unofficially)! so glad he's finally here!
i also got to watch the cutest little boy on the planet last night while his dad was working & mom was having a girls night!! i just love his smiles!
school starts soon (august 27th) and i'm getting excited for that! i've almost completed all my general classes and am starting on the long list of english core classes that i need to take, which includes quite a few literature classes. i'll be taking a british lit class this semester, my first literature class ever, and we'll be reading 5 books throughout the semester; the remains of the day, pride & prejudice (just finished it for personal reading and LOVED it!), saturday, the quiet american, & last but not least, heart of darkness. crazy! wish me luck!

seriously, what a good week! and what a fine looking newborn!! i say we keep him :) he's a huge fan of his aunt erin! after all, you're one of the very first people he met!
